Fieweger Joins Edelman's Chicago Crisis Practice

Edelman has named Kathy Fieweger as a senior vice president of its crisis and issues management practice in Chicago. Fieweger will provide clients with insight into financial communications and legal matters affecting reputation management and enterprise value.

CHICAGO—Edelman has named Kathy Fieweger as a senior vice president of its crisis and issues management practice in Chicago. Fieweger will provide clients with insight into financial communications and legal matters affecting reputation management and enterprise value.

 

Fieweger joins Edelman from FD, where she was a senior member of its Chicago special situations team and created strategic communications plans for transactions, restructurings and labor strategy for a variety of clients. Previously, she served as vice president and relationship manager at U.S. Bank for the Illinois State Treasurer and the Illinois Funds.

 

Before joining U.S. Bank, Fieweger was the director of content development at United Airlines and worked closely with the CEO and other senior executives to position the airline’s business and restructuring objectives during its multi-year bankruptcy proceedings. Previously, she spent 15 years at Reuters, reporting on every aspect of financial news and most recently managing the U.S. aero team.
