LOS ANGELES—FischerHealth, a subsidiary of Porter Novelli specializing exclusively in healthcare, has added UltraShape North America as a client. UltraShape has developed a new ultrasound system for non-invasive body contouring, UltraShape Contour I, that is selling outside the U.S. but is not yet cleared for marketing by the FDA.
FischerHealth will represent the client in the United States and Canada in conjunction with its parent company, Porter Novelli, which is spearheading UltraShape’s global campaigns. The agency will work to prepare for its North American launch.
FischerHealth was selected for its depth of expertise in medical devices, particularly in therapeutic ultrasound, where the agency has 20-plus years experience, in addition to its experience translating technology into clear and differentiating value propositions, market conditioning and new product rollouts.
