LONDON—The Fishburn Hedges Group has recruited Mobbie Nazir as managing partner to launch its new digital marketing agency. Nazir has been recruited from her current role as head of planning for MRM Worldwide, an Interpublic afency, where she is responsible for strategy on accounts including Intel, Mastercard, BSkyB and Microsoft.
Nazir will partner Chris Reed, who currently heads up Fishburn Hedges’ digital and social media team, to launch the agency.
According to Fishburn Hedges Group chief executive Neil Hedges: “The digital environment has created new opportunities and challenges for our clients.”
Adds Nazir: “The demands on digital agencies are changing. I have seen a distinct shift in the past few years in the role which digital plays from being all about delivering a message to instead generating a conversation. It’s a space in which digital agencies with a PR mindset have a strong contribution to make.”
Prior to her role at MRM, Nazir was business director at Wunderman Interactive and spent three years at Digitas. Reed joined FH in 2001 and established the firm’s online reputation management and reporting systems for clients.
