FitzGerald Names Senior Execs in New York and D.C.

Technology public relations agency FitzGerald Communications has hired Jeena Choi in its New York office and Kristin Martell in Washington, D.C., as account directors providing strategic counsel to clients and managing several account teams.

BOSTON—Technology public relations agency FitzGerald Communications has hired Jeena Choi in its New York office and Kristin Martell in Washington, D.C., as account directors providing strategic counsel to clients and managing several account teamss. They will also assume marketing and business development responsibilities while assisting with the overall management of their respective offices. 

Choi has worked in-house for consumer-tech giants Samsung Electronics and Sony Electronics, while her agency experience includes an account supervisor role at Porter Novelli where she developed a specialization in managing global consumer and technology public relations programs for well-known brands including HP and Timberland. 

Martell joins FitzGerald’s D.C. office from her Arlington, Va.-based independent public relations practice, mTell group, where she managed communications and marketing programs for clients such as Vibrant Solutions, The Potomac Officers Club, Converged Access, DC Access, ExecutiveBiz magazine, Openet Telecom, and others.

The firm has also promoted several personnel. Greg Wind has been named account director, and will continue to work on teams for clients including GEAC, Newbury Networks and TRUSTe. John Carter and Rob Halpin have been promoted to account managers.
