Fleishman Forges Alliance with Florida Public Affairs Firm

Fleishman-Hillard International Communications and Smith & Ballard, one of Florida’s leading government relations and public affairs consultancies, have formed a strategic partnership.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Fleishman-Hillard International Communications and Smith & Ballard, one of Florida’s leading government relations and public affairs consultancies, have formed a strategic partnership to provide a full range of government, public affairs, and public relations services to clients in Florida and Washington, D.C.

Smith & Ballard is led by prominent Florida attorney Brian Ballard, who was chief of staff for former Governor Bob Martinez, and his partner Jim Smith, former secretary of state, attorney general, and chief of staff for the office of the governor. Ballard also has held positions in the U.S. government, following Martinez to Washington when Martinez was appointed White House drug czar. Fleishman is agency of record for the White House office of national drug control policy.
