Fleishman Names Hermsen to Lead Munich Office

Fleishman-Hillard International Communications has appointed Markus Hermsen as managing director of the agency’s Munich office and as technology practice group leader for Germany.

MUNICH—Fleishman-Hillard International Communications has appointed Markus Hermsen as managing director of the agency’s Munich office and as technology practice group leader for Germany. He will be part of the firm’s German management board together with general manager Wolfgang Küsters and managing director Armin Huttenlocher. He succeeds Tina Snoeckx, who is on extended maternity leave.

 

Markus Hermsen comes from Hiller Wüst & Partner, the technology agency of Hill & Knowlton in Germany, where he held various roles, spending the last four years as managing director. Simultaneously, he was member of the management board of Hill & Knowlton Germany and of the European tech practice leadership group of Hill & Knowlton EMEA.

 

Hermsen is an expert in corporate communications for clients in the IT and telecommunications industry sectors. He has a broad expertise in financial communications and acted as consultant to national and international clients in M&A or crisis situations.
