HONG KONG—Fleishman-Hillard International Communications has formed an affiliate partnership in Vietnam with Biz Tequila\, a full-service, integrated PR arm of TBWA\ Group. Biz Tequila\ will help serve Fleishman-Hillard’s client needs in a market of rapidly growing importance within the region. This represents the second alliance Fleishman-Hillard has formed with the public relations arms of the TBWA Group of companies, following the announcement last month of the affiliation of Eleven\PR in Auckland. FH will draw on Biz Tequila\’s local network in Vietnam, including its operations in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and its presence in 10 other cities and provinces nationwide. Biz Tequila\ staff and clients will have access to Fleishman-Hillard’s regional and global network of experts, best practices, and professional development and training programs. “Vietnam is an exciting, rapidly evolving emerging market that is increasingly important in the Asia Pacific region,” says Lynne Anne Davis, Fleishman-Hillard’s Asia Pacific president. “Biz Tequila\’s specialization in public relations, event marketing, government relations and consumer activation is consistent with our mission.” Biz Tequila\ offers special expertise in online communications, experiential marketing, buzz marketing, event management and consumer activation. In addition, Fleishman-Hillard and its clients will be able to take advantage of the broader capabilities the TBWA Group of companies has in Vietnam, including brand design and management, direct response and customer relationship management, interactive marketing and web design, and advertising.
