ST. LOUIS—Fleishman-Hillard International has signed an exclusive affiliation agreement with Companhia de Notícias, one of Latin America’s largest public relations agencies, to expand its client services in Brazil.

“This agreement with CDN—a partner that shares our culture, philosophy, and business practices—clearly strengthens our ability to provide excellent service to our clients in Brazil,” says Fleishman-Hillard senior partner and regional president, Richard Kline. “But just as important, thanks to CDN’s broad regional presence, this affiliation opens up exciting new business opportunities throughout Latin America.”

CDN, which was founded in 1987, has 130 staffers serving approximately 60 clients through its five offices:  São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, Porto Alegre, and Vitória.  The firm will end 2002 with estimated total revenue of 20 million reals (US$5.7 million).

Says CDN president João Rodarte, “Globalization brings new challenges to companies. Through this alliance, we are making sure that our clients can get the level of service and expertise they need beyond the Brazilian market.”
