LOS ANGELES—Susan Fleishman has been named executive vice president, corporate communications, at Warner Bros. Entertainment. She will report directly to Barry Meyer, chairman & CEO.
In her new post, Fleishman will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all of the company’s corporate communications strategies and activities on a worldwide basis, including media relations (entertainment, business and general), employee communications (working with the Studio’s human resources team), governmental relations and executive communications.
She will work closely with the chairman and senior management to ensure the studio’s messaging reflects its core values and advances the company’s business strategy.
Prior to joining Warner Bros., Fleishman spent a decade at Universal Studios, holding a number of senior communications posts. She was most recently senior vice president, community affairs at NBC Universal and corporate media affairs at Universal Studios, a position to which she was appointed in 2004.
