Florida's Carlson Named to Lead PROI Network

Bill Carlson, president of Florida-based Tucker/Hall, has been named new president of Public Relations Organisation International, a 46 member partnership of independent public relations firms.

TAMPA— Bill Carlson, president of Florida-based Tucker/Hall, has been named new president of Public Relations Organisation International, a 46 member partnership of independent public relations firms. He succeeds Jean-Leopold Schuybroek, CEO of Belgian firm Interel, who was named PROI’s chair of international development.

Carlson will be supported by regional vice- presidents Philip Roffey, vice president of Europe, Middle East and Africa and also partner of i&e Consultants in Paris, France; Andreas Fisher-Appelt, vice president of Europe, Middle East and Africa and also managing director of fischerAppelt Kommunikation; Bob Frause, vice president of The Americas and also president and CEO of The Frause Group in Seattle; Joanne Paquet, vice president of The Americas and president of Enigma Communications in Montreal; Alistair Nicholas, vice president of Asia-Pacific and also managing director of AC Capital Strategic Public Relations in Beijing; and Sharif Rangnekar, vice president of Asia-Pacific and director and CEO of Integral PR Services in New Delhi.
