NEW YORK—Dorothy Crenshaw, co-founder and former president of Stanton Crenshaw, which closed its doors last month, has former Crenshaw Communications. Providing "creative public relations for a digital world," the agency will focus on business and consumer communications with an emphasis on consumer marketing PR, consumer and business technology, and digital and social media.

The firm has 15 professional staff, 12 of whom were previously Stanton Crenshaw employees. Crenshaw will be CEO and creative director, while Liz Savery, executive VP, will serve as managing director.

"As a midsized group, we think it's time to bring a sharper focus to our practice areas and a re-energized commitment to creative thinking and client service," says Crenshaw. "Additionally, with growing client demand for digital media experience, we are now poised to apply greater resources to this area and better serve the clients and brands we represent."

Crenshaw Communications clients include Sharp Electronics, SHOP.com, Quiznos, Call2Recycle, and home and garden brand Mosquito 86.
