Former Broadsoft Comms Chief Launches New Agency

BroadSoft, a leading worldwide provider of VoIP applications software, has appointed Kristin Martell as its new director of corporate communications. Martell brings more than 13 years of public relations and communications experience.

GAITHERSBURG, MD—BroadSoft, a leading worldwide provider of VoIP applications software, has appointed Kristin Martell as its new director of corporate communications. Martell brings more than 13 years of public relations and communications experience, particularly in the telecommunications industry.

 

Most recently, Martell served as director of marketing of CNSI, a mid-tier government IT solutions provider. She has also held positions at several high tech PR agencies, as well as ran her own PR consultancy; during this time, she executed successful PR campaigns for telecommunications providers Qwest, Teleglobe (acquired by VSNL International), GlobeNet (acquired by 360networks), and DC Access, as well as for numerous infrastructure and software vendors.

 

As director of corporate communications, Martell assumes responsibility for public relations, internal communications and analyst relations activities in support of BroadSoft's strategy and brand. She will oversee the development and execution of communications strategies to increase awareness of and elevate BroadSoft's profile worldwide.
