Former Bush Aide Joins Kentucky PR Firm

J. Scott Jennings, special assistant to President George W. Bush and a close advisor to recently-drparted White House senior advisor Karl Rove, has joined Peritus Public Relations of Kentucky as director of strategic development.

LOUISVILLE, KY—J. Scott Jennings, special assistant to President George W. Bush and a close advisor to recently-drparted White House senior advisor Karl Rove, has joined Peritus Public Relations of Kentucky as director of strategic development.

Jennings served the Bush administration as a liaison for members of Congress, state and local officials, and key business, political and community leaders nationwide. His first job at the White House was as a political affairs liaison for 11 southern states, including Kentucky and Tennessee. Before joining the White House in January 2005, Jennings managed Bush’s 2004 re-election campaign in New Mexico.

As director of strategic development at Peritus, Jennings will leverage his experience to provide top-level strategic communications counsel for clients and continue to grow the firm’s national client base.
