WASHINGTON, DC--One year after departing Dutko, public affairs veteran Mark Irion has joined Levick as president.

Irion led Dutko as its CEO since 2003, but left the firm four months after new owners Grayling rebranded the firm as Dutko Grayling.

At Levick, Irion will report to CEO and chairman Richard Levick.

"I could not be more proud of the company or the talented individuals who have helped build LEVICK into a recognized brand for crisis, corporate and litigation communications throughout both the nation and the world," said Levick.

"Having built this company from the ground to where it is today, I know Mark has the leadership and experience to take this firm to where it will be in the next decade because his track record in this town speaks for itself."
