Former EPA Communications Exec Launches Firm

Donna Vincent Roa, former public affairs director and director of science communication at the Environmental Protection Agency's office of research and development has launched Vincent Roa Group.

ROCKVILLE, MD—Donna Vincent Roa, former public affairs director and director of science communication at the Environmental Protection Agency's office of research and development has launched Vincent Roa Group, which will provide strategic communication, brand management, and public relations services, specializing in issues involving the earth and its people: science, environment, sustainability, energy, public health, technology, and lifestyle communications.

Roa says the firm uniquely positioned to serve Maryland’s more than 200 biotechnology companies, 19 federal agencies, and the burgeoning bioscience industry.

Most recently, Roa was public affairs director and director of science communication at the Environmental Protection Agency's office of research and development. Earlier, she was a senior communication officer at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa working with an Undersecretary General.
