Former Frist Aide Joins MWW in D.C.

The MWW Group has named Jim Neill as vice president in the firm’s Washington office.Neill joins MWW after serving as a senior staff member of the National Republican Senatorial Committee under Senator Bill Frist.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The MWW Group has named Jim Neill as vice president in the firm’s Washington office.Neill joins MWW after serving as a senior staff member of the National Republican Senatorial Committee under Senator Bill Frist. He will help lead public affairs and lobbying initiatives for several clients and will become a member of the management committee of the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.

“Jim’s first-hand experience and strong relationships on Capitol Hill will effectively serve our clients in navigating the intricate Senate environment,” said Michael Kempner, president and CEO. “His knowledge of electoral politics and public policy is an excellent complement to our top-ranked federal appropriations, education and healthcare lobbying practices.”

Previously, Neill served as Senate liaison for Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson, where he monitored and advocated issues beneficial to the State of Wisconsin.  Following Governor Thompson’s nomination by President-Elect Bush as Secretary of Health & Human Services, Neill helped manage the Cabinet confirmation process.
