BERN—Markus Renner, former head of corporate brand management at Novartis International has joined the Branding-Institute, a Swiss consulting firm, as managing partner. According to Branding Institute partner Marco Casanova, Renner—who was a Branding Institute client while at Novartis—will strengthen the firm’s expertise in reputation management.
Renner was responsible at Novartis for the re-launch and the maintenance of the global corporate brand along with the establishment of a worldwide reputation-oriented stakeholder management system. Before joining the Swiss pharmaceutical giant in 2004, Renner held several senior communication positions for Bayer in
