LONDON—Fleishman-Hillard has named Peter Hindle, who recently retired after a distinguished 32-year career with Procter & Gamble, as senior consultant.
Hindle will be based in the United Kingdom and will serve in a consulting capacity to Fleishman-Hillard clients in Europe and, as needed, other parts of the world. He will also work closely with GPC, the public affairs consultancy owned and operated by FH.
Hindle has considerable expertise in: environmental affairs; external relations; issues and crisis management; stakeholder dialogue and relations, particularly in working with nongovernment organizations; corporate social responsibility; product development; training; and other disciplines integral to corporate public relations and public affairs.
According to Jack Modzelewski, president of Fleishman-Hillard Europe, “Peter has taken both a practical and a scientific approach to the practice of external relations. And, importantly, he comes from a commercial environment in which the integration of communication disciplines is considered vital to the success of leading brands.”
Hindle joined Procter & Gamble in Newcastle in 1970 and Procter & Gamble career included assignments in six countries—the U.K., United States, Switzerland, Turkey, Spain, and Belgium. He spent the past nine years in Brussels, most recently leading external relations and employee communications for Procter & Gamble’s global and home care business.
