Former Policy Network Director Browne Joins APCO in London

Matt Browne, former director of the Policy Network, the international progressive governance think-tank founded by Tony Blair, Gerhard Schröeder, Göran Persson and Giuliano Amato, is joining APCO Worldwide as a director.

LONDON—Matt Browne, former director of the Policy Network, the international progressive governance think-tank founded by Tony Blair, Gerhard Schröeder, Göran Persson and Giuliano Amato, is joining APCO Worldwide as a director.

As head of the Policy Network, Browne was responsible for the intellectual and political preparation of intergovernmental summits in the United Kingdom, Hungary and South Africa. He worked on policy issues with European Trade Commissioner Peter Mandelson, a host of international leaders, and prime ministers’ and presidents’ offices across the globe.

Prior to his position at the Policy Network, Browne was a senior adviser to former European Commission President Jacques Delors, during Delors’ leadership of the Laeken Council Advisory Group and his campaign for the presidency of the convention on the Future of Europe.
