CHARLOTTE, NC—Derek Farley, who spent 18 years at leading public relations industry service company PR Newswire, has launched Derek Farley Public Relations, which will help businesses, trade associations and organizations generate publicity, build brand awareness and increase sales.
“I feel there is a large gap between companies who embrace public relations and those who don’t understand the benefit at all,” says Farley. “DFPR was created to assist both. For those who ‘get it’, we will seek to assist them on a project basis; but, primarily, DFPR was created to bridge the gap between the two and show small companies how the big companies do it and, more importantly, why they do it.”
