NEW YORK—Edward Adler, former executive vice president of corporate communications at Time Warner and most recently senior partner heading MediaLink's strategic communications practice, has joined RLM Finsbury as partner.

Kyle Giunta, former account director for strategic communications at MediaLink, will be joining Adler at RLM Finsbury, formed in July through a merger between WPP-owned corporate and financial communications firms Robinson Lerer & Montgomery and Finsbury Group.

During a long career at Time Warner and its divisions, Adler was a reporter for Time magazine, a programming executive for HBO and news editor for Time's magazine development area before becoming a corporate communications executive. He served in several high-profile communications positions for the company before being named executive vice president, corporate communications for Time Warner in 2004.

In that role, he was part of management and worked side-by-side with the investor relations, public policy and strategic planning areas of the company. He also supervised communications between the individual operating divisions advising on mergers, acquisitions and management shifts and provided expert solutions to corporate public crises.
