LONDON—Independent U.K. agency Four Communications has acquired travel and tourism public relations and representation firm bgb in a cash and equity deal. bgb will join’s public relations, public affairs, digital services, sponsorship, media and marketing practices and will relocate to the agency’s Leicester Square headquarters.
The newly named practice, Four bgb, will be a leader in travel and tourism PR with combined annual fee income in excess of £2.5 million and a client list including Visit Wales, Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons and Raymond Blanc, the Barbados Tourism Authority, Etihad Airways, Hand Picked Hotels, The Passenger Shipping Association, Club Med and Wyndham Hotels.
According to Debbie Hindle, bgb managing director: “Together with Four, we will be able to offer both staff and clients a much broader, deeper service. As part of an integrated, but still independent group, we can now offer critical new services like digital, public affairs, design and media buying, all under one roof. But, most importantly the team at Four has a philosophy and approach that really matches the bgb culture and spirit.
bgb is led by Hindle and deputy MD Jo Johnson, both of whom will join the Four Communications board.
