FRB Hires Simonelli to Lead Transactions Practice

Financial Relations Board has hired Richard Simonelli as executive vice president and general manager of its New York office. He will lead the firm’s transaction practice and help expand its international business.

NEW YORK—Financial Relations Board has hired Richard Simonelli as executive vice president and general manager of its New York office. He will lead the firm’s transaction practice and help expand its international business.

Simonelli brings expertise with the global financial markets, mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, corporate/country branding and crisis communications. In 23 years on Wall Street, he spent a decade at the New York Stock Exchange where he was senior managing director of international.

During the past four years, Simonelli founded and managed his own financial consulting firm, Abbey Road Partners, working with international companies, governments and organizations including Deloitte & Touche, the Government of South Africa, Denel and the World Gold Council. 

Simonelli also spent seven years of agency experience as managing director and head of the New York office for Citigate Dewe Rogerson and senior vice president of Manning Selvage & Lee.
