CHICAGO—Financial Relations Board has promoted Claire Koeneman and Kathy Waller to co-presidents of the firm. Koeneman and Waller will be responsible for driving client growth and overseeing domestic and international expansion of the firm and will report to Michael Kempner, who serves as chief executive officer of FRB as well as running Interpublic sister agency MWW Group.
Koeneman and Waller will also continue to serve as co-general managers of the firm’s Chicago office. Koeneman will maintain her role as head of FRB’s REIT practice and oversee the firm’s Eastern region. Waller will be responsible for the company’s Western operations.
Koeneman currently manages FRB’s portfolio of more than 30 REIT clients and has been with the firm for 12 years of service. Previously, she was a principal in the private investment department of Salomon Brothers and an executive in investor relations and asset management at The Inland Group. Waller joined FRB 18 years ago, after working for five years in the research department at Stein Roe & Farnham, one of Chicago’s largest investment counsel firms.
