RALEIGH—French/West/Vaughan, one of the largest independent public relations firms in the Southeast, several new clients, including the U.S. Navy.

FWV has been retained by multicultural agency GlobalHue, in conjunction with Campbell-Ewald, the Navy’s agency of record, to add a public relations element to the U.S. Navy’s current African-American communication initiative, “Person In Me.” As part of the Navy’s “Accelerate Your Life” initiative, “Person In Me” generates awareness among young African-Americans of how utilizing the Navy experience can help them reach their long-term career and entrepreneurial goals.

FWV will execute a national media relations campaign as well as a regional speakers bureau at influential African-American events such as the Black Congressional Caucus and National Association of Black Journalists convention.

Other new additions include ozone equipment manufacturer IndustrOzone Technologies, which has named FWV public relations agency-of-record to assist with media relations, trade and mainstream advertising, and direct mail; and United Security Service, which has hired French/West/Vaughan to launch its next suite of services that include an exclusive distribution and service agreement with a proprietary technology partner.
