RALEIGH, NC—French/West/Vaughan, one of the Southeast’s largest independent public relations, public affairs and brand communications firms, has acquired Mid-Eye Marketing, a strategic marketing and public relations firm based in Raleigh. David Middleton, president of Mid-Eye, will become the chief marketing officer of French/West/Vaughn.

Mid-Eye was formed earlier this year by Middleton to provide comprehensive marketing services to companies in the real estate, business-to-business and nonprofit sectors. Previously, Middleton served as president of EPCOR Business Centers, the largest executive office suites company in the region.

At FWV, Middleton will be responsible for new business development for the agency, community relations, and expansion of FWV work into additional business sectors.

“This is a unique opportunity for me to contribute to the continuing growth of the leading PR and brand communications firm in the Southeast,” said Middleton. “Joining provides a broader template for presentation of branding and marketing strategies to wider audiences and the ability to deliver the results clients need to differentiate themselves in today’s competitive economy.”
