HONG KONG—Manning Selvage & Lee has named Leslie Fung as executive director of the firm’s Hong Kong office. Fung joins MS&L from Golin/Harris Forrest, where he was director of investor relations. He will report to Fiona Cohen, managing director of MS&L Greater China. Fung will be responsible for managing the Hong Kong office as well as building the financial communications capabilities of the office.

Fung will work closely with the firm’s Capital MS&L financial communications team to leverage the group’s strong international and corporate financial communications network.

“As competition for international capital continues to intensify, companies throughout the region are increasingly focusing on the way they communicate with investors around the world,” says Steffan
Williams, managing director of Capital MS&L London. “Leslie’s experience and MS&L’s international financial communications capabilities combine to create a serious and compelling offering for Hong Kong, Chinese and Southeast Asian companies.”

The position of executive director replaces the current positions held by Andrew Laxton and Uhi Hui who will be leaving MS&L Hong Kong at the end of January.
