FWV Adds WaterBrick, Expans Sports and Entertainment Practice

French/West/Vaughan has been named agency-of-record by WaterBrick International, a Florida-based company developing solutions to the world water crisis, and has added two new entertainment clients.

RALEIGH, NC—French/West/Vaughan has been named agency-of-record by WaterBrick International, a Florida-based company developing solutions to the world water crisis. FWV will provide public relations counsel and support to raise awareness of WaterBrick’s first-response product, an industrial strength container capable of delivering water, food, and shelter to disaster zones or developing countries in need.

 

FWV will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive public relations and marketing program that will include proactive media relations, governmental communications and event coordination. The agency will work to raise WaterBrick International’s brand recognition in the domestic and worldwide markets, further establishing the organization as a logical solution to help victims in disaster zones, the poor in developing countries and for use in military applications.

FWV has also expanded its sports and entertainment practice with the addition of two new entertainment clients: Out The Box Records and celebrity chef Mel Melton.   

 

Out The Box Records has engaged FWV to represent classic rock legend Dave Mason, an inductee in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and a co-founder of rock super-group Traffic. FWV will promote Mason’s new solo album, 26 Letters and 12 Notes, which features performances from stars such as Willie Nelson and Sheila E. Mason was introduced to FWV in September when he performed for the visitRaleigh.com Benefit Concert for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame + Museum—where agency president Rick French is a trustee—and the John Entwistle Foundation.

 

Blues musician and celebrity chef Mel Melton has selected FWV to provide comprehensive media relations services. FWV will provide PR support for Melton’s restaurant, Papa Mojo’s Roadhouse in Durham, and for his band, The Wicked Mojos.
