G.S. Schwartz to Handle Publicity for 2006 Toy Fair

The Toy Industry Association has hired G.S. Schwartz & Co. to manage public relations for the American International Toy Fair, which runs from February 12 to 15 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.

NEW YORK—The Toy Industry Association has hired G.S. Schwartz & Co. to manage public relations for the American International Toy Fair, which runs from February 12 to 15 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.

The Toy Industry Association, founded in 1916, is the national trade association for U.S. producers and importers of toys, games and children’s entertainment products. Its 400-plus members account for 85 percent of industry sales.

G. S. Schwartz has handled the public relations for many toy, game and entertainment companies, including: Pressman Toy, Techno Source, T-INK, Mme. Alexander/TBM, Commonwealth Toys, Raggedy Ann & Andy, Gametek, Toymax/Creepy Crawlers, and eToys Direct. Association clients have included Direct Marketing Association, Promotion Marketing Association, National Association for the Self Employed and the Information Technology Association of America.
