WASHINGTON, D.C.—Gage Business Consulting & Government Affairs has formed Gage Asia, the firm’s second international expansion within a year. Current Gage vice president of business development and government affairs Mike Rawson will become president of Gage Asia while he continues service to current clients.
Rawson previously served as senior policy advisor for Senator Conrad Burns and was lead staffer for the Senator in his roles as co-chairman of two of the most active caucuses in the Congress, the Internet Caucus and E9-1-1 Caucus. In addition, both Gage founding partner Leo Giacometto and vice president Andrew Cochran have relevant experience for the firm’s Asia clients. Giacometto’s military background and years of service in the State Department’s counter terrorism section will provide insight on a variety of business and political issues being faced throughout the Asian region, while Cochran is the founder and editor of a counterterrorism blog.
Headquartered in Washington, D.C., Gage has additional offices in London and Kansas City and a client list that includes Google, Vonage and VeriSign.
