GCI Absorbs Interactive Group

Grey Global Group has integrated its Elemental Interactive unit into sister company GCI Group. The online financial and corporate communications specialist will be renamed GCI Interactive.

NEW YORK, May 16—Grey Global Group has integrated its Elemental Interactive unit into sister company GCI Group. The online financial and corporate communications specialist will be renamed GCI Interactive and will expand GCI’s existing suite of interactive services.

Elemental was founded in 1994 and specializes using new media to deliver investor, corporate, and employee communications. With offices in Atlanta and Vail, Colo., the company helps produce annual reports, shareholder meetings, and analyst conference calls with an online component.
James Harris, co-founder and chief executive officer of Elemental Interactive, will serve as CEO of GCI Interactive.
