LONDON—GCI Europe has named Pepe Rossi & Partner as its exclusive affiliate in Italy.

PRP was founded in 1997 by Annibale Pepe and Daniele Rossi. It generates $1m in annual revenues, has seven staff based in offices in central Milan, and acts for clients including Accenture, Electrolux, Adalya, and Cometa.

According to Adrian Wheeler, GCI’s European chairman, “PRP has evolved a singular proposition that can best be described as communications management consultancy. It is head and shoulders above the standard Italian PR agency business model and fits beautifully with GCI’s strategic goal.”

Pepe says PRP was drawn to GCI’s concept of a network as a confederation of local enterprises: “GCI makes client-facing human resources its first priority; for us, it is both surprising and attractive to find an international PR company with exactly the same ideas as PRP.”

LONDON—GCI Group has forged an alliance with BeAsYouSay, a U.K.-based internal communications and change management consultancy. BeAsYouSay was formed last year by three former Smythe Dorward Lambert executives: Dik Veenman, Neil Melvin, and Gavin Fen-Smith.
