NEW YORK—GCI Health, one of the leading healthcare communications firms in the US, has opened a London office. The expansion is being led by Rikki Jones (pictured, who transfers from her role as director at WPP sister agency Cohn & Wolfe, and associate director Louise Veale, who also moves from within the WPP network.

GCI Health London opened its doors earlier this year and is already working with six clients at the global, European and UK levels in the areas of oncology, virology, auto-immune disease, diabetes and respiratory.

The London operation will focus on four primary service areas: life sciences, consumer health, strategic consulting and market access communications.

Jones was most recently a director at Cohn & Wolfe and before that an account director at Red Door Communications. Veale was most recently the owner of HealthChick, a health and wellbeing consultancy, and before that held roles at Firebrand and Munro & Forster.
