GCI Health Names New West Coast Leadership Team

GCI Health has appointed a new west coast senior leadership team, naming Jim Wetmore as west coast market leader and Kristin Cahill as deputy director.

NEW YORK—GCI Health has appointed a new west coast senior leadership team, naming Jim Wetmore as west coast market leader and Kristin Cahill as deputy director.

 

With Wetmore in Los Angeles, Cahill in San Francisco and senior team member Kelly Laban in San Diego, the new will gave extensive experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, aesthetics and health information technology and will be capable of meeting the needs of a wide range of West Coast healthcare clients.

 

Wetmore joined the agency in 2004 and transferred to Los Angeles in 2006 to support the launch of a new biologic treatment from a California-based biotech company. Cahill spent five years in GCI’s New York office working with multinational pharmaceutical companies before transferring to San Francisco in 2007 to expand the organization’s expertise in biotechnology and health information technology. Laban has more than 11 years experience in managing FDA approvals, product launches and consumer campaigns, as well as internal and external issues management, including FDA advisory board meetings.
