NEW YORK—Management and IT consulting firm Cap Gemini Ernst & Young has selected GCI Group to support its public relations efforts in the US. The program will place a particular emphasis on raising awareness of the value of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young’s “unique intellectual capital,” according to GCI New York president Tom Reno.

“It was evident to us that Cap Gemini Ernst & Young US and GCI share a similar entrepreneurial philosophy and combined with GCI’s senior level experience in the professional services industry, we felt a strong synergy with their team,” says Terry Jost, vice president of sales and marketing for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young U.S. “Ultimately, GCI showed a clear understanding of our business objectives and the steps we need to take to achieve those goals.”

GCI’s New York office will lead the account under the management of Reno, who says, “We see a tremendous opportunity for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young U.S. to realize the potential of the combined value of these two highly respected consulting leaders. We look forward to building a program that communicates to the North American marketplace the depth and reach of its collective thought leadership.”
