AARHUS—Charlotte Støvring, a former partner and director at GCI Mannov, has partnered with the American journalist Brian Woodward to launch a new Scandinavian communications and public relations firm. Støvring+Woodward Communications will work with Danish companies that do business abroad as well as with international companies looking for public relations services in Denmark and the Nordic region.

Støvring has more than 20 years experience in communications, the past eight as director and partner at GCI Mannov. Before that she was director of communications for the consulting firm Ramboll and was a communications officer at Disa Industries.

Woodward is an American journalist who lives in Europe. He was previously a Senior Consultant with GCI working in marketing PR, international communications and digital media. He also has worked as project manager at the Danish software company CCI Europe and at the U.S. advertising agency TBWA Chiat/Day in New York and Los Angeles. He started his career as a reporter at The Philadelphia Inquirer and Sports Illustrated Magazine.

Says Støvring: "Internationalization is an everyday reality for most Danish companies today. This creates significant challenges, whether we are talking internal communications across national borders or profiling in the media in relevant markets. It is these challenges we would like to support.”
