LOS ANGELES—Consensus Planning Group, a public affairs, community relations and public relations firm, has named a new leadership team, led by president Josh Gertler. Gertler will guide the agency’s three offices and the firm’s expansion into other markets. He joined CPG in January 2001 after more than eight years at Hill & Knowlton and Fleishman-Hillard.
Company founder Julie Gertler steps into the chief executive officer role, devoted to providing high-level counsel to clients and helping define the firm’s strategy and vision. She will also lead the firm’s innovation task force, which is exploring the application and integration of new media tools into the agency’s core services.
The new leadership team also includes vice presidents Lilian DeLoza, Lisa Levy Buch, Nazan Armenian and Eric Moses, and controller Ralph Ziegler. DeLoza, a 13-year veteran of CPG and an expert on multicultural communications, will lead the firm’s transportation and environmental remediation practices; Levy Buch will direct the firm’s real estate entitlement business and oversee the firm’s regional offices in Southern California; Armenian will oversee firm marketing and talent development; and Moses, a former journalist, editorial writer and a veteran of L.A. City Hall, will direct the firm’s media relations practice.
