Ginsburg to Head New York Office of Environics

Environics Communications has named veteran communications executive Dan Ginsburg as senior vice president and general manager of the firm’s Metro New York office.

STAMFORD, CT—Environics Communications has named veteran communications executive Dan Ginsburg as senior vice president and general manager of the firm’s Metro New York office. Ginsburg will report to Environics president and CEO, Bruce MacLellan, who is based at the company’s headquarters in Toronto.

Ginsburg joins Environics after more than six years as senior vice president and director of the New York technology practice at Porter Novelli. While at Porter Novelli, Ginsburg managed corporate and consumer PR campaigns for companies such as HP, Reuters, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Dana Corporation, and Iomega.

Prior to Porter Novelli, Dan served as chief speechwriter to Rhode Island Governor, Lincoln Almond. Previously, he worked in Washington, D.C. for Edelman Public Relations Worldwide; at the Center for State Policy Research; and as a special assistant to U.S. Representative Jerry Huckaby.

Environics has offices in Toronto, Montreal, Stamford, and Washington, D.C.
