BERLIN—Beauty venture Glossybox has hired Sachar Kriwoj as global head of PR and communications.

Kriwoj will be responsible for corporate and brand communication at the company, which sends beauty products to subscribers based on their personal profiles.

Kriwoj previously worked at E-Plus where he supervised digital political communications and concept store BASE_camp. The 33-year-old has also worked as a press officer for online learning platform Scoyo and music streaming service Roccatune.

Kriwoj will oversee Glossybox's comms throughout the company's 15 markets, which include the US, UK and Brazil. Kriwoj will report directly to the founders and CEOs Brigitte Wittekind and Charles von Abercron.

"He embodies the staging of communication through content," said von Abercron. "Furthermore, he is able more than anyone else in Germany to use social media for public relations which is why he is the perfect match for us."

Earlier this year, Glossybox handed its global PR assignment to MSLGroup Germany.
