BOSTON—Technology public relations specialist FitzGerald Communications, has hired Kerri Glover as senior vice president and general manager of the firm’s Washington, D.C., office. Glover will be responsible for the direction and growth of the D.C. office, as well as the management and development of strategic communications programs for clients.
In addition, as a member of the overall senior management team, Glover will be involved in the agency’s operational management, networking and business development efforts.
Glover was founder and managing director of Alexander Ogilvy’s Washington office, ran her own consulting business, and was a vice president for D.C.-based Widmeyer Communications. She also worked in the non-profit arena as communications director for the Sierra Club, in federal government as press secretary to the U.S. Secretary of Education, and in politics as a press secretary on presidential, state and local campaigns.
In addition to providing strategic communications counsel, she has experience in crisis and reputation management, media training and market research.
