ATLANTA—The Georgia Department of Economic Development has selected GolinHarris as its public relations agency of record. The agency will assist the department’s public relations staff in the development and execution of a comprehensive communication and public relations program, in addition to providing strategic communications planning and counsel. The account will be led out of the agency’s Atlanta office.

GolinHarris will partner with GDEcD in developing public relations campaigns and initiatives that support the agency’s global commerce, tourism and entertainment divisions. GDEcD will call on GolinHarris to communicate Georgia’s business advantages to global, national, regional and local business communities, in order to help attract jobs and investment to the state.

For GolinHarris, the win adds to the agency’s rapidly growing economic development portfolio. In addition to its work for the Singapore Economic Development Board, GolinHarris added the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago and Delta Air Lines’ China expansion as key clients during the past year.
