LONDON—In an effort to build on its recent success in the U.K. and expand its European operations, GolinHarris has appointed Jonathan Hughes and Matt Neale co-managing directors of Europe. Hughes and Neale will retain their current roles as co-managing directors of the London office, and will continue to report to president and CEO Fred Cook. They will also join the agency’s executive management committee.
Since Hughes and Neale took over the London office three years ago, it has doubled in size and become the company’s lead office for international assignments. Recent international wins include Nokia, Wrigley, Unilever and Glenfiddich.
Although the firm has nine offices and affiliate partners in Europe, its continental operations remain relatively small compared to its multinational peers.
Mark Herford, who had served as regional managing director, continental Europe, is returning to a full-time client service role.
