Golin Picks Up Las Vegas Sands Assignments

Las Vegas Sands Corporation has selected GolinHarris to handle public relations for the launch of its Sands Eco 360° global sustainable program.

LOS ANGELES—Las Vegas Sands Corporation has selected GolinHarris to handle public relations for the launch of its Sands Eco 360° global sustainable program.  Las Vegas Sands is seeking to position itself as a leader in sustainability in the hospitality and integrated resort industry, and Sands Eco 360° is the umbrella program for all of its sustainability programs. 

 

The scope of the assignment includes building brand awareness, consumer and business-to-business media relations, and influencer outreach. The team launched Sands Eco 360° on March 17 at the Venetian, along with announcing that the Venetian has received LEED-Gold EB certification. LSVC already has received LEED-Silver NC Certification for The Palazzo and the Sands Exposition Center.

 

The account is led out of the agency’s Los Angeles office by Tim Scerba, executive vice president.

 

“We selected GolinHarris based on our past success working with the agency on our Bethlehem and Venetian properties as well as some corporate and website work,” said Ron Reese, vice president public relations for LVSC. “GolinHarris not only understands our company and industry, it also has extensive knowledge and experience in sustainability.”
