CHICAGO—GolinHarris has established an exclusive affiliate relationship with Grape PR & Consulting of South Korea. Grape PR will represent GolinHarris, as well as provide public relations support to clients entering the Korean market, while GolinHarris will provide global access across its 30 offices to Grape PR’s Korean clients.

“As the 10th largest economy in the world, and with a reputation as one of the world’s most technologically advanced and digitally-connected countries, South Korea has become an increasingly important Asian market for our clients,” says Fred Cook, president and chief executive officer of GolinHarris. “Our affiliation with Grape PR not only allows GolinHarris to have a presence in this growing market, it also provides our clients with solid local public relations expertise.”

Grape was formed by John Kim, who has extensive experience in corporate affairs and public relations working for local and multinational companies in Korea, in January 2006. The firm has since grown to more than 25 employees, offering services including brand marketing, media relations, government relations and public affairs, and issues and crisis management to clients including Qualcomm, Microsoft, LG Electronics, and Hankook Tire.

According to Kim, “The formation of this partnership will allow Grape PR access to the resources of one of the world’s most respected public relations firms.”
