CHICAGO—GolinHarris has formed a new network of offices in Latin America, bringing together more than 300 professionals in eight countries. This expansion is led by Flavia Vígio, recently hired by GolinHarris to develop the agency’s business in the US and Latin America.

A native of Brazil, Vigio previously served as vice president of Communications of Arcos Dorados, the company responsible for managing McDonald’s in Latin America. In her six-year tenure at Arcos Dorados, she supervised agencies in 20 markets working in media relations, government relations, internal communications, corporate citizenship and crisis management.

She will manage the network from the GolinHarris Miami office.

Some of the clients already serviced in Latin America by the network include Unilever, Mead Johnson Nutrition, Nintendo and Novartis.

Golin’s network of agencies in Latin America now includes GolinHarris/S2Publicom in Brazil; Urban Grupo de Comunicación in Argentina and Chile; Zimat Consultores in Mexico; Precise in Colombia; BBM Lowe in Panamá; Publicis in Puerto Rico; and Entorno in Venezuela.
