BOSTON—Porter Novelli has been appointed public relations agency of record for Goodwin Procter, one of the nation’s leading law firms. The agency will develop a national footprint for Goodwin Procter’s brand and help the firm grow its strategic practice areas. Goodwin Procter, with headquarters in Boston, has more than 650 attorneys across offices in Boston, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Washington D.C. and serves the business law and litigation needs of more than one-third of the Fortune 100.

Best known for practices serving REITs and real estate capital markets, financial services, technology and life sciences companies, private equity, intellectual property and products liability, the firm selected Porter Novelli for counsel in corporate public relations and public affairs.

The PR firm helped develop and execute Goodwin Procter’s recent launch of its first ever West Coast offices and drove media coverage of the firm’s strategic expansion in key national business and trade publications.

“Porter Novelli has structured a bi-coastal team with knowledge of our key markets and geographies and is well on its way in developing a national strategy for telling the Goodwin Procter story,” said Anne Malloy Tucker, chief marketing officer.
