LONDON—Kevin Bell has been appointed managing director of Fleishman-Hillard U.K. Bell will continue as managing director of GPC London and GPC Edinburgh. The appointment follows the resignation of Scott Clark, who will take an extended break with his family before moving into his next role in the communications industry.
Clark founded healthcare specialist CPR in 1993, and sold it to Fleishman-Hillard in 1999. In 2002, Clark was appointed MD of the Fleishman-Hillard London office. He Clark will remain with the company for a period to help with client transitions and support the growth efforts of both CPR and Fleishman-Hillard.
Bell began his career with Michael Forsyth Associates and was a founding director of Westminster Strategy in 1987. In 1994, he became the founding managing director of Lowe Bell Political, before joining GPC in October 2000. In recent years, he has specialized in the areas of financial services, mergers and acquisitions, and competition and regulatory policy. He has run a number of high-profile campaigns, advising the Nationwide Football League on the collapse of ITV Digital.
