Fast growing Bay Area public relations firm Graham & Associates has launched a new lifestyle and hospitality practice area, adding five new accounts to get the practice off the ground.

SAN FRANCISCO, July 22—Fast growing Bay Area public relations firm Graham & Associates has launched a new lifestyle and hospitality practice area, adding five new accounts to get the practice off the ground.
 
Selecting Graham & Associates as agency of record are Aqua Development Group, owner of seven fine dining establishments; Hotel Hana-Maui and Jean-Michel Cousteau Fiji Islands Resort, two of
the world’s leading small-luxury resorts owned by Passport Resorts; Carmel Business Association, which serves as the local visitors bureau; and El Capitan Canyon in Santa Barbara.
 
“The hospitality industry changed dramatically in the past few years,” says Lydia Graham, the firm’s president. “Online booking, reductions in company expenditures and September 11 all have influenced the manner in which, and how often, people travel.  However, with consumer travel showing recent signs of recovery, it is all the more reason to step up marketing efforts.”
 
The announcement comes less than a month after Graham announced the creation of a new social venture practice, which clients including the American Land Conservancy and the Institute on Aging. The firm also launched Plexus, a network of independent European public relations firms.
