DUBAI—Grayling has named Julio Romo to lead its Dubai digital hub, which covers the Middle East, Turkey and Africa.

Romo joins Grayling in the newly-created role of head of digital after spending the past nine years as an independent consultant, working for numerous clients and agencies around the world.

Based in Dubai, Romo will report to Grayling Middle East, Turkey and Africa CEO Loretta Ahmed, who said that the firm is experiencing a "huge surge" in demand for its digital services among Middle East-based clients.

"Building digital and investing further in the skills and expertise of our consultants is a core part of our development strategy in this region,” said Ahmed.
