NEW YORK—Anne Green has been named president and chief executive officer of CooperKatz & Company. The firm has also named Dorothy Sonnenburg as its chief financial officer. According to principals Andy Cooper and Ralph Katz, “the appointments of two long-serving contributors to the agency’s growth and success create a strong, dynamic leadership team for the future.”
Green joined CooperKatz a few months after its founding in 1996 and has steadily increased her leadership role, building the firm’s social media practice, expanding its media training capabilities and providing high-level strategic counsel to its national clients. In 2007 she was named president and chief operating officer and now, as CEO, assumes broader responsibility for business growth, client service, people management and diverse capabilities.
Sonnenburg joined CooperKatz in 2003 and has led an assessment and enhancement of the firm’s billing, expense management, human resources and technology infrastructures. She was named senior vice president, finance and operations in 2007 and now assumes responsibility for designing a customized financial management system, as well as continuing to strengthen operational efficiency and support the human resources function.
